Double Excellence Award nominations for Ridley & Hall

PrintRidley & Hall have been shortlisted in two categories for the national Law Society Excellence Awards 2008.

Amongst record numbers of nominations in all categories reported by the Law Society to have been of extremely high quality, Ridley & Hall have been shortlisted for the Excellence in Social Responsibility – Pro Bono Award. This award is to highlight best practice and innovation in social responsibility and community engagement, the judges will look for original ideas and significant outcomes from initiatives across the spectrum, from small-scale community involvement to large-scale pro bono projects.

In a double nomination achievement, Senior Partner Nigel Priestley has also been shortlisted for the Solicitor of the Year Award. This award “will be presented to those individual lawyers who have set themselves apart from their peers. They might have done this by making an outstanding positive impact on the reputation of the legal profession during the year or be making an unusually significant impact in their practice area or in the service of clients.”
