It is just 24hrs away from Adam Fletcher’s Long Walk Home!

Ridley & Hall is currently supporting Macmillan as their chosen charity, to benefit from various fundraising activities throughout the year.

On Friday, we are joining forces with Casa Gelato Ice Cream Parlour to celebrate and raise funds for MacMillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning – but our Managing Partner is taking part in something really extraordinary to raise funds and awareness for the charity – he’s walking home.

The journey from Huddersfield town centre to Pontefract is 25 miles, and by setting off at 2pm Adam is hoping to make it home (or to the local pub for last orders) by 10pm. He should at least be able to burn off the calories from the cakes he has eaten that morning! Adam is armed with a year’s supply of kendal mint cake and has the aromatherapy foot spa on standby. Rumours of a lap of honour for the return leg on Monday morning have yet to be confirmed.
