Lucy began life at Ridley and Hall as a Care Paralegal in August 2018. In July 2019, she began her training contract, with her first seat being in the Care Team.
Lucy has completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in Leeds and achieved a merit award. Prior to this, Lucy attended University of Huddersfield, initially studying for a History degree and later the Graduate Diploma in Law, where she achieved an upper second class grade in both subjects.
Lucy also has experience of working as a paralegal at Bankfield Heath Solicitors in Leeds, which specialises in Asylum and Immigration law. This has given her a keen insight into helping the most vulnerable clients – something which she hopes to continue whilst working in the Care Team at Ridley & Hall Solicitors.
Outside of work, Lucy has a keen interest in sport (playing and watching) and is a Leeds United fan. She also enjoys playing football on the weekends for Hepworth United, a team based near Holmfirth, Huddersfield and was also an active member of the University of Huddersfield ladies football team. She also represented Yorkshire at tennis at the age of 10 and was in the Leeds United girls’ development squad up to the age of 12. Outside sport, in her spare time, Lucy enjoys going to the cinema and maintains an interest in current affairs.
